The Great Salmon Hunt has teamed up with Freedom Tackle to offer participants a weekly opportunity to win one of two Freedom Tackle Herring CutBait prize pack with a retail value of $200!
The hard-bodied Herring CutBait trolling lure has a tantalizing roll when used in many different trolling applications. It has the perfect action when trolled behind a flasher, a paddle or on its own. The Herring can be run behind a dipsy or down-rigger to cover the complete water column from top to bottom. Though-wire construction means this lure can stand up to the abuse of hard running silver rockets. All lures are UV coated with some featuring glow paint to cover all the conditions you might face. Rigging is included with the supplied 40# mono leader and multiple bearing swivel.
All photos and/or videos entered in the contest must include a salmon caught on Lake Ontario and a Freedom Tackle Herring Cutbait Trolling lure to be eligible. Participants can enter the Freedom Tackle Media Contest through Instagram or Facebook by tagging both @greatsalmonhunt and @freedomtackle together with the following 3 hashtags: #greatsalmonhunt #freedomtackle and #herringcutbait!
The Freedom Tackle Media Contest is a weekly contest with ten (10) prize packs, two prizes will be awarded each week, one for the photo and one for the video respectively. The weekly contest windows are as follows:
12:01 am August 1 through to 11:59 pm August 7,
12:01 am August 8 through to 11:59 pm August 14,
12:01 am August 15 through to 11:59 pm August 21,
12:01 am August 22, through to 11:59 pm August 28,
12:01 am August 29 through 11:59 pm September 6.
There is a limit of one (1) entry per person per Instagram account or Facebook account per day, regardless of the method of entry. The same photo and/or video cannot be entered multiple times. Anyone with a valid 2020 Great Salmon Hunt ticket is encouraged to enter the contest!
A panel of judges consisting of a representative from the Great Salmon Hunt and Freedom Tackle will judge all photos and videos submitted based on originality, creativity, technical proficiency, uniqueness and appropriateness. Winners will be announced the Sunday following the weekly contest window, with the exception of the final prize pack which the winner will be announced on Tuesday, September 7.
Photos and videos which are illegal, defamatory, or in any way obscene, as determined by Freedom Tackle and the Great Salmon Hunt, will be disqualified.
